Fill That Truck Outreach - Harrison Campus

August 26th, 2018

We think no kid should ever go hungry! Especially not in our neighborhood! We're partnering with our area schools and churches to make sure kids go home on the weekends with food to eat!

We can't do this without you! We need people to help collect food, so register for that here! We also need EVERYONE to purchase and bring food for these weekends! You can get those details at the Information Center closer to August!

October Baptism- Harrison Campus

October 28th, 2018

Total submersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Since our Lord commanded it, we believe it should be observed. It is an act of faith and testimony subsequent to regeneration and as an outward sign of the inward spiritual work brought about in our hearts by the new birth (Matthew 28:19).

October Baby Dedication- Harrison Campus

October 28th, 2018

Throughout the New Testament, the Bible teaches that baptism is a public expression of worship symbolizing the new life we have when we follow Jesus. In the Bible we see that Jesus’ parents dedicated Him to the Lord (Luke 2:22–40), and He was later baptized as an adult (Matthew 3:16–17).

We understand that some churches practice “baptism of confirmation” for children. This ceremony is intended to be a commitment between the parents and God on the behalf of the child. The parents promise to raise their child in the faith until the child is old enough to make his or her own personal confession of Christ. This custom began about 300 years after the Bible was completed and is different from the biblical examples of new believers being baptized to publicly profess their faith in Jesus.

With a heart to follow this Biblical model, at Church on Fire we provide opportunities for baby dedication and believer’s baptism for children over the age of seven. To schedule a baby dedication,
